Binchotan Charcoal (BCI) is perfect for use in toothbrushes, here's why:
Binchotan Charcoal, or white charcoal as it is commonly known, is a traditional charcoal made in Japan. It is manufactured from Ubame Oak, and has been used for centuries as the highest-quality charcoal, as it does not release smoke or odour when burnt. Today, Binchotan Charcoal is used in health products because of it's natural toxin absorbing ability. Binchotan Charcoal can be found in cosmetics, used in water purification and in the treatment of air pollution.
Definitely not. Binchotan Charcoal is natural white, or pale grey in colour. The BCI Bristles of the MrGrins brush are coloured, that way, you know our product is different from the rest. That, and it looks pretty freaking sweet.
Most definitely. Binchotan Charcoal is totally safe, and has been used for over centuries by the Japanese in cooking, purifying drinking water and cleaning products. The Japanese boast one of the longest lifespans in the world. They must be doing something right.
With its highly porous structure, Binchotan Charcoal is able to absorb impurities as it is used. Bacteria become "stuck" inside the pores, rather than in your mouth.
The highly porous nature of Binchotan Charcoal make it ideal for removing bacteria and tiny molecules of that lead to bad breath. MrGrins recommends you also follow a regular flossing regiment, when using our awesome brush.
MrGrins absorbs toxins, and any impurity present in your saliva while brushing, through the porosity (tiny holes) of the Binchotan Charcoal. Binchotan Charcoal does not target any one toxin. It removes any molecules small enough to fit inside the pores. This provides you with a balanced environment in your mouth.
Binchotan Charcoal removes toxins, chemicals and impurities through its tiny pores, which would normally have created an acidic environment in your mouth.
Most toothbrushes in your supermarket are manufactured in China. Our MrGrins brush is made in Japan.
Women can also subscribe to MrGrins. We're just focused on bettering the oral hygiene of the world, one man at a time.
Dentist recommend you change your toothbrush every 2-3 months, depending on it's condition and your state of oral health.
If that is your desire, we can arrange to modify your subscription to send you a brush more frequently.
Should this occur, prepare some hot water (but not boiling) and rinse thoroughly. This should get your brush back on track and smelling great.
